Gender Equality

Gender equality is not just a fundamental human right; it’s a prerequisite for a peaceful, prosperous world. The fifth goal aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, combatting discrimination and violence while promoting equal participation in leadership and decision-making.

PhilSCA Codi Manual and Capacity Training

As PhilSCA strives to be free from sexual harassment and violence against women, this rallying cry was created during the finalization of the CODI Manual and capacity training for PhilSCA’s Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI). The CODI was chaired by Asst Prof. Garlie G. Gonzales, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs (for students) and Dr. Ma. Teresa S. Rosales, Director for HRMSD (for employees). The VPAA/GAD Focal Person, Dr. Rowena S. Navera, initiated the training-writeshop, which was facilitated by Ms. Analie R. Bolo-Apostol, an expert in gender and development from the Office of Solicitor General (OSG).
